What started out as an experiment in the winery a couple of years ago, has now turned out to be a cracking full bodied, juicy Rosè.
 
The french say Rosè, pronounced "Rose aay" so of course as silly as we are, we called our first batch "Rose B" didn't we?  Get it? See what we did there....here all week, try the veal, boom tish.  Well no one got it, really no one, so we now (yawn) call it Shiraz Rosè, but fear not, it's still just as good.
 
Sourced from a cool climate Shiraz vineyard in Dromana, it was soaked a little on skins overnight, hence its deep rich colour.  The grapes were then kissed by our  press and ever so lightly drawn out from their berry homes.  This rosè then went straight to barrel and fermented slowly and delicately until we had to stop the crew from drinking it all, yet again!
 
It's a flavoursome Rosè, lots of body, does really well lightly chilled, and goes with pretty much everything!
 
Don't be afraid of the bottle, it's cork and random quality controlled wax dipping.  We only made one barrel, which translated to about 300 or so bottles, so we thought we better do something special.
